I have been in the biz for several years and am passionate about helping people catch their dreams. I am happy to patiently work with Buyers and I am an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). I am also Relocation-certified to work with companies helping employees move here or away. My primary areas of expert local knowledge include Greenwood, Lake Greenwood, Abbeville, Hodges, Ware Shoals, Waterloo, Cross Hill, Ninety Six, & Chappels- all lovely areas in the upper Piedmont area (NW) of Upstate South Carolina. I am a Lake Greenwood PRO. Happy to expand my horizons for Buyers when needed.

BACKGROUND
I graduated from Fordham University, NYC, (a long time ago) with a BA in Communications. Before I "found" real estate, I was Director of Corp. Communications for a global public maritime firm that operated large fleets of tugboats, tankers, and offshore oil rig support vessels. I joined this company following its emergence from Chapter 11 to effect its rebranding; improve image/reputation to attract customers and retain/attract employees. This was primarily a 4-year in-the-office job, but I learned a great deal about "the big picture" and how to implement systems & projects that get results. Before that position, I had an incredible job for 13 yrs as Public Relations Manager at a major seaport, working with Cruise, Cargo and Navy. I set up educational outreach programs with the Navy and NATO, honed my creative skills with dozens of award-winning marketing projects and programs, enjoyed celebrity cruise events, promoted manatee and environmental awareness and coordinated media fly-outs to aircraft carriers (yes, I am a Tailhooker). I learned all about the importance of the "people factor," the value of networking, the impact of marketing tools, and the crucial necessity for attention to detail. Before that, I was Editor of a weekly newspaper where I learned that "time is of the essence" (deadlines) and to work really hard for very little money and like it (don't laugh). Passion for what you do makes life interesting.

All of these wonderful careers led me to real estate and after a decade in the business, I opened my own Brokerage firm in 2013, TLC Real Estate. My Brit husband and our menagerie of pets keep me balanced and happy, and real estate keeps me empowered and motivated. It's GOOD to be the Dreamcatcher. Can I be yours?
